We spent the May Day weekend at the guesthouse.
The road is a bit difficult with many twists and turns but once you reach the village the view makes up for it.
Excellent guesthouse and Mr. Panagiotis and all the staff are very friendly!!
We also had a tour of the folklore museum, where we learned the history of the village and how it got its name Kastanitsa!!
We have already booked our next excursion.

Our stay at Kallisto in Kastanitsa was truly a wonderful experience! The guesthouse ideally combines traditional architecture with modern amenities. The location is ideal.with a wonderful view of the traditional settlement of Kastanitsa and the natural landscape of Parnon. It is an ideal choice for those who love nature, hiking and mountain biking.

We went to Kallisto during the holidays to escape from everyday life and it was a truly unique experience. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed walks through the chestnut trees and the village enchanted us with its beauty and traditional character. It was exactly what we needed.

Exceptional guesthouse located in a beautiful village. Attention has been paid even to the smallest detail. The rooms are spacious, spotless, with comfortable beds and large windows open to fantastic Mountain View’s. An ideal place for anyone seeking comfort, nature, and a truly memorable mountain escape. A strongly recommend.
