Hidden among the fir trees in a ravine, with beautiful stone houses built amphitheatrically on three slopes, two small rivers crossing it and three stone bridges connecting its neighborhoods, the village of Tsintzina is one of the most beautiful of Parnonas.
The marked trails of various degrees of difficulty and the active people behind the "Scholarcheio" guesthouse and the "Mantos" tavern have made the settlement a very popular base for hikes in Parnonas and nature-loving excursions in general for some years. It is about 25 km from Kastanitsa and the route is also fantastic.
